Life hack #27: Put your bare feet on the earth... trust me on this one

[00:00:00] Life hack #27 put your bare feet on the earth, trust me on this one. When I first started learning about spiritual healing and energy healing, one of the things that people always said is make sure you go outside, you know, go for a walk, get enough sun, go lay on the grass. I'm like, uh huh. No, turns out there's something to it, right?

And so once I realized the benefits of grounding or earthing, they're kind of similar. I will never look back. And so here's why this is a life hack. If you need help stabilizing your nervous system, if you need help calming yourself down, go sit on the earth, take your socks off, your shoes off and put your bare feet on the sand, on the grass, on the dirt, and do that for at least 30 minutes a day, if you can. And I personally can attest to the benefits of my overall wellbeing. I feel a certain sense of calm and even belonging, a sense of reduced anxiety, even if I'm still sad, which by the [00:01:00] way, I do go in and sit on the earth every single morning.

It's just part of my grounding in the morning. And when I do, yeah, sometimes I'm still sad. But it's a different place to be sad. It's a more grounded place, a feeling of it's okay, you know? And so I did get some information on the web to help guide this life hack, but ultimately I want you to Google this.

You could also go to my website TorontoUnicorn.com, episode 27 for this podcast has its own webpage, and I'll put some additional links there on grounding and earthing techniques. This is free guys, this is free. And what do you have to lose by trying it? Nothing. So if you are struggling with getting over this break up and tough feelings, I want you to go and put your body in contact with the earth and see how it helps you.

So there is some science behind earthing and grounding, and it has something to do with the electrical exchange and, uh, reconnecting our energetic bodies to the earth. And there's a lot of, [00:02:00] uh, complicated explanations for why it works. You're welcome to look that information up for yourself. What I need to tell you is if you're struggling getting over a break up and you haven't been trying putting your bare feet or hands or laying down on the earth every day, I highly recommend you start.

If you have a park nearby, I would recommend you go and make yourself a little spot in the grass where you look forward to going. If you have a backyard, use that if you can put your body submerge it in a body of natural water, that would also be effective as well. There's just something to bringing your body back to a sense of, I would call it emotional equilibrium.

And I think it really was effective.
